As far as I’m aware, no one had ever shot their first look on this staircase before. It’s probably safe to say that most photographers would opt for capturing this special moment on the rooftop where the ceremony takes place (and understandably so, given how gorgeous it is up there). As you can probably imagine, this was a difficult shot to get due to the perspective limitation. I ended up having to park my car in the middle of the street and stand on top of it to capture just the right angle. But in the end it was all worth it and we ended up with this stunning shot. The Fremont Foundry is conveniently located right in downtown Fremont and offers several mix-and-match options for all your event needs. The rooftop terrace has beautiful views of north Seattle for those who would like to exchange their vows in an outdoor setting, as well as a courtyard where guests can mingle while drinks are being prepared. But if you’re concerned about the chance of less-than-ideal weather conditions on your special day, the venue also offers a beautiful atrium with a 20-foot ceiling, as well as an indoor dining area just downstairs. With so many options, you can rest assured that The Fremont Foundry has something for everyone.
