Wedding Photography is not just about taking pictures but also about how you work with a large group of people and making them feel comfortable. It's not unusual to see the wedding party being a bit stiff and reserved in the beginning of the day. However, sometimes it just takes a little bit of alcohol to get them going. Especially for the groomsmen, wherever there's beer, they are happy.
This is Matt and Yui's wedding party. I have to tell you they are one of the most amazing group of people I have ever worked with. And all of them are photogenic and natural models in front of the camera! This picture was taken near Pike Place Market right after the ceremony. The bride and groom had a limo service for us. I was pretty excited beforehand since I never hopped on the limo with the wedding party before. However, it turned out to be a disaster as the AC was broken and we had to take a lot of detours. What could've been a 10 minute ride max turned out to be 30 minutes. As a result, that cut my shooting time in half. But as a wedding photographer, you have always work with what you have, and that's what we did. I did not waste any time trying to figure out what to do but used the remaining time efficiently to click the capture one photo after another. After seeing the images when I got back home, I can barely contain myself with what I got. I absolutely adore this bridal party!
