Georgetown Seattle Wedding Photographer

Right after the ceremony at the pier of West Seattle, I suggest taking a couple portraits around the water. Without any hesitation, Bethany and Will said they wanted to get away from the crowd and have their own moments and switch to a different environment for photos. So we immediately drove to the reception venue and looked around and found this amazing location. This image was taken at Georgetown, Seattle right outside of their reception venue the Stables. Right before   exceeded my expectation early in my photography career. I put the flash behind the couple to light up the door which creates a white arch above the couple. With this composition and lighting plus a little twist in post processing, I decided to submit this image for my first ever entry to WPPI's print competition (Wedding and Portrait Photography International). Unfortunately I never really got a score because I did not get the print processed and mailed to Las Vegas in time. The next year which is 2017, I decided to submit this image again for the second half online competition and got a score of 76 which signifies that photograph meets the professional standard, but there's definitely a lot of things that I could've improved on.

Location: Gerogetown, Seattle.
