Who knew that one photo could so accurately sum up what Seattle’s ambiance is like for a large portion of the year: dark, moody, and constantly threatening rain. But fortunately, Stephanie and Nick managed to make this gloomy evening infinitely better by showcasing their adoration for each other during their engagement photoshoot.
Seattle’s ever-present overcast skies certainly aren’t for everyone, but one thing that is for everyone is the waterfront. The beautiful view of the Puget Sound and the Olympics never gets old - even for Seattle natives. Although much of the waterfront is being reconstructed, the area still holds onto some of the city's history from the past century and earlier.
And if you're in the mood for some of the best seafood around, check out Elliot's Oyster House for some outstanding oysters, or Aqua by el Gaucho for a more sophisticated affair. It's all satisfying enough to distract you from the rain - even if only temporarily.
